Veronica Al Khoury has been a designer/dressmaker for over 20 years. She is passionate about what she does, and came to BiB wanting to take her work to another level. Her business is a high-end womenswear designer label. Veronica specialises in creating her own unique designs for evening and formal wear using quality fabrics, with special attention to detail. In the future she hopes to see her label growing to include daywear and children’s wear, but more importantly to be able to find international markets for her clothes.

Creating things has always been a passion of Kylie Bowers. At age six she started to crochet, and 20 years later she still hasn’t stopped. She has played around with everything from crocheting toys to designing clothing, but now specialises in creating brooches, clutches, phone covers and other accessories. Over the next five years, Kylie hopes to see some of her creations being sold in small boutique shops, and to have enough work to employ someone to help.

Whilst raising my 2 children I discovered a passion for creating hand crafted textile art pieces. I make my various accessories from vintage fabric and eco friendly materials.I use a combination of crochet, felting, sewing and embroidery techniques to come up with playfully designed indie styled items. I studied fine arts at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology(RMIT), library and information technology and horticulture via Brisbane Tafes.
