“From the first phone conversation I had with Kerry who was so amazingly friendly and enthusiastic, I knew Bizness Babes would be a worthwhile learning experience. I had no idea just how much I would learn about business and also from a personal perspective how much I would learn about me!

I have really appreciated Kerry’s ongoing interest, support, motivation and endless energy. She is so well suited to this role and I really appreciate her advice and positive attitude. The follow-up meetings in between course days have been really helpful in keeping me on track.

Vickie is the most knowledgeable speaker I have ever had the pleasure to learn from. Her natural ability to facilitate and get her vast area of expertise across was really inspiring and made me want to keep learning more and more! It was remarkable how she could talk to us each day, without the use of notes. It came so naturally to her and I have learnt so much. I especially liked her constant use of examples from everyone in the group to support her facts and information she wanted to convey. This also made us feel like she was genuinely interested in our business ideas and helping them to succeed. Her workshops were very interactive and were full of so many excellent resources and networking ideas. I also really appreciated Vickie’s follow-up in the form of notes in the mail, some generic business articles and some she had specially chosen for me. I thought that personal touch was particularly nice.

Paula has also been really friendly, supportive and able to share her expertise with us all. Her sessions on assertiveness and time management was really informative and I gained a lot from them and from her presence at BIB.

Kerry, Paula and Vickie work so well together and complemented each other beautifully. Thanks to them, and under their guidance our group also become very supportive of each other and it has been a fantastic and very rewarding ‘journey’ we have all gone on together and will continue to go on. The whole structure of the course was so well planned. The BIB workbook is a terrific reference. There was a great balance of guest speakers, and tasks like selling your business idea to a group of people. Perhaps it would be good to do a similar exercise to this at the end of the course (before the expo) too when we had all refined our ideas more.

I have gained so much from this course, I feel it is really important to have the opportunity to keep meeting with Kerry, Paula and Deb during the next year.  It would be wonderful to be given the chance to have a one-on-one session with Vickie further into my business development.

I really hope lots more mums with business dreams have the chance to undertake this BIB course. It was so useful to have the childcare provided and made it so much easier to commit to the course.
