Mumtrepeneurs

TV interview…comments from two women in business who refer  to themselves as “mumtrepeneurs”.

When asked “Why do you want to be self employed?” they talked about choosing self employment to enable them to have the flexibility they wanted around rearing their families. When asked what advice they would give to other women who are embarking on similar paths they both agreed that passion for your idea, understanding that you will have to work hard, belief in your product and finding a product that will fill a gap in the market were priorities. They also said that it was very important to do the figures...no point in setting up a business if you are not going to make a decent profit.
