You must include a logo or photo. Your logo or photo must be 200px by 200px. If your logo is not square you can use image editing software to place your logo on a white square of the required size.

If you do not have image editing software you can download the free Paint .Net application.

To see the size of the image; Open the image in Paint .Net, Go to the Image menu and select Resize. The size will be displayed. If your logo is a square you can enter 200 for the height and 200 for the width, to resize the image to the required size.

Steps to resize a rectangle logo into a square

(these are general steps, if you don’t know how to do an individual step you can google for instructions on your image editing software):

• Open the rectangle logo image in your editing software
• Crop any excess whitespace from around the image
• Using the image menu resize the logo to have a width of 200px (making sure to maintain the aspect ratio)
• The height of the image will now be less then 200px
• Select and copy the entire image
• Make a new image that is 200px by 200px, a white background would suit the website best but there may be another color that suits the logo better
• Paste the logo into this new image
• The pasted logo will still be selected, hold down the shift and use the mouse to position the logo within the new image
• Save and your done!

Trouble shooting

If you are saving your images from Adobe Photoshop (or similar applications) make sure you use the save for web setting. Images saved as CMYK will not be visible on all browsers. You need to make sure that the images are saved as RGB.
