Using Order Numbers

The order number field will be available for items that are displayed in lists.

The order number is used to determine the order the items are displayed on the website. eg: BiB Team members

Order number must be numeric.

If there is more the one item with the same order number they will be displayed in the order they were added with the newest item first.

The actual numbers used for order numbers are not important. Only the order is important. For instance

  • You may choose to use order numbers that have gaps between them to make it easier to add items into the list later. eg: create with 10, 20, 30 etc. so that if a new item needs to go first you can add it with order number 5.
  • Add item you want to go last with an order number of 9999.
