Bizness Babes began in 2006. An initiative of The Body Shop supported by the Federal Government.

In our first program we had 4 young mothers who had a dream to create financial independence. One of these young Mums, Gemma now runs a successful photography business, another Melissa is training to build the additional skills she needs to run a successful business in the future.

Like our enrolments, and waiting lists, we have grown. We have enabled hundreds of women, many of them mothers, the opportunity to dream of independence through business.

Over 300 women have been given the tools to dream… to open their minds to the possibilities business can give them and their communities.

We have run 9 programs in Sydney, 16 in Melbourne, 6 in Brisbane and one in Shepparton. We aspire to be able to offer the program to women all over Australia and in developing countries.
