Shire Nannies is a boutique nanny agency based in the Sutherland Shire and St George areas of Sydney connecting local families with safe and caring local nannies and babysitters.

As a mother I know how difficult it is to have to leave your children with other people and as an Early Childhood Teacher I also know how important the first five years of a child’s life is as it shapes much of their development for adult life. As director of Shire Nannies I am passionate about recruiting nannies that will ensure the home they work in is safe, loving, secure and stimulating. Our aim is to connect the best suited nanny to the family’s needs, wants and beliefs so together we can provide an environment that will positively enhance that child now and in the future.

When I applied for the Bizness Babes course I had been running my business for nearly 2 years- I was starting to lose inspiration and even wondered whether Shire Nannies was my dream anymore as I felt very limited. I had so many other business ideas that my head was full and confused. Looking back over my application form, I seemed to be so negative and lacked LOADS of confidence.

All I can say now after having completed the course is a BIG THANK YOU to the team and the wonderful and totally inspiring ladies who also did the course with me who I now call friends, what an amazing network we all have.

As far as my business is concerned I found my inspiration again I now have focus, direction AND confidence and I am very excited about all the wonderful things Shire Nannies will be adding to it’s services in the near future. One idea of which was born during the course is called ‘Shire Families’ which is proving to be the answer to developing and extending my creativity and adding something unique and useful to my local community.

So if you are thinking about applying for this course I say jump right on in with feet first and get ready for a ride that will take you to so many wonderful places as a mother and as a businesswomen. Get ready to find YOU and again!!
