As well as running two social enterprises and chasing after two children I am the lead faciliator for the Brisbane Business Development Courses.

I am passionate about business and believe successful ethical business is possible.

What I love

I love what a teapot represents. Conversation, community, warmth, laughter, tears, memories. When I was initially deciding on a logo for my business Biddy Bags I asked around my friends what came to mind when they thought of their nanas?? For most of them it was tea and this is where it all began.

There is something ancient and therapeutic about sitting down to a pot of tea. Some of the best conversations I have had have been over a quality pot of English Breakfast, Peppermint or Green Jasmine Tea. On a cold winter night I love to sit down to a hot cup of tea and wholemeal digestive (how nana is that).

But it’s not just about the tea it’s about what it represents. Sadly with the invention of the tea bag and its convenience it has taken away the need for the teapot. It is the teapot I love because it is not for one it is for two, three, four, five, six……I believe it takes a village to raise a child, a village that wakes up every morning and begins the day over a shared pot of tea. I see Bizness Babes as part of my village and I look forward to sharing a cup of tea with you :)
